THE BIO GITE
Jani and Andrea opened their guest house in the south of France to share their organic and eco friendly life stlye in 2012. The gîte is situated along the Le Puy route, one of France’s three main walking routes to Santiago de Compostela.
Jani has moved onto a new project and Andrea is now ensuring that the same philosophy of the guest house is maintained. Keeping the door open to all pilgrims, sharing little Italy in Livinhac le Haut - "La Vita è Bella" and taking care of nature.
Guests can expect to be warmly welcomed with Andrea’s Italian cuisine. Evenings pilgrims make music, singing, great company.
All instruments are available to play... there is a piano, accordion, banjo, flute and trumpet, tuba, mandolin, trombone, guitar, and more to come...!
All ingredients used at La Vita è Bella are produced using traditional methods and are environmentally friendly.
Organic cooking :

ACCOMMODATION
La Vita è Bella eco-friendly gîte can accommodate up to 15 people. The gite offers breakfast and dinner, and a variety of selected organic coffees and tees in our newly opened tea room

LE PUY EN VELAY (SAINT JAMES'S WAY WALKING ROUTE)
Le Puy en Velay route has been used by millions of people since the middle of the 9th Century. The route begins in Le Puy en Velay and ends in Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain.
Originally Le Puy route was utilised by Christians walking to the tomb of the Apostle James in Santiago de Compostela. Today people from all backgrounds walk Le Puy for many different reasons.

There are two ways of getting here:
TRAIN
There is a train station in Capedenac Gare and Viviez (near Decazeville).
We can arrange to pick you up with our car.
WALK
Walk from Conques or Figeac.
